Go underground
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an adventure game developed by Ubisoft where you are tasked to defend New York City from evil shadow-like creatures. It is an action-packed game where you can jump from rooftops, scale buildings, and explore the sewers of the city.
Save the city
Exploring the city is fun and exciting in this game especially because you get to go on an adventure at night. You will face different kinds of villains as you navigate around the darkest corners and areas. It will be a little challenging to defeat them at first but as the game progresses and you get used to their movements, you will find it easier to kill them. The game has an interesting gameplay and missions that are very easy to accomplish. The lack of challenge may make the game less appealing to players who are looking for a complicated and more in-depth gameplay. On the contrary, kids will love this game. The 3D graphics and detailed environment combined with easy-to-do missions will be highly appreciated by youngsters who would like to break away from very cartoonish games with simple 2D graphics.
Level of difficulty aside, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is still action-packed and exploring every nook and cranny of the city is worth your time. There are places that can be accessed by only a single ninja turtle while there are other areas that would require all of the brothers together in order to reach it.
Perform cool stunts
Navigating around the city will let you enjoy doing cool tricks like jumping from rooftops of buildings and crawling down the dingy sewers. You will also get to try and perform the turtles’ combat skills when you confront your enemies. For instance, Raphael can do a very strong Sai Throw with his Sai, a famous ninja weapon. When facing powerful enemies, the brothers can combine their skills and powers to perform destructive attacks.
Graphics and visuals
As mentioned, you will be exploring the city of New York during the night. The dark setting of the game stays true to the turtles’ nature of staying hidden underneath the sewers. It also keeps the Max Winters’, the turtles’ mortal enemy, to be a mystery. The 3D graphics are great and makes the environment look realistic. It is able to feature New York’s dark alleys and streets. The graphics will also make you appreciate the acrobatic movements and actions being done in the game.
A nice adventure game
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles may be a little too easy to accomplish but it is still an interesting game to play. There are a lot of areas to discover and your enemies are diverse in kind.
